History Press is now proudly flying the American Palate flag!

Have an appetite for history? The History Press is delighted to share the newly minted American Palate series, which showcases our growing list of food and drink histories, including books that tell the story behind a landmark family food business, a food industry that shaped the local economy, or a regional cuisine that reflects the community’s culture.

We’re all geared up for a feast of flavorful history this year with forthcoming books on Big Sky Country breweries, four hundred years of New Mexico wine production, the lost apricot orchards of Silicon Valley, recipes from Portland’s favorite food carts, and much more! For a complete list of American Palate titles visit the online catalogue at www.historypress.net.

Is something missing from our menu? We’re currently accepting proposals for the 2013 publishing year, so if you have a delicious history just waiting to be gobbled up, please visit our submissions page and say hello!
